How photography started
I started with a small digital camera, photographing family gatherings, special events, and everyday moments. In college, photography courses taught me how light, composition, and timing work together to tell a story.
After gaining real-world experience with Orion Photo Group, I started Grayson Flicks Photography. My goal was simple: create strong photographs while giving people an organized, comfortable experience in front of the camera.
Today, I work across weddings, portraits, families, graduations, and events. That range has taught me when to step in with direction and when to quietly document what is already happening.

I competed in NCAA Division III cross-country and track for four years. That experience taught me consistency, patience, and how to stay steady when plans change.

Chinese is my first language and English is my second. I have also traveled to seven countries, experiences that shaped how I listen and connect across different backgrounds.

Family and connection
I grew up with nine siblings, seven of whom were adopted. Being part of a large family gave me an early appreciation for different personalities, relationships, and ways people show care.
