How It All Started?
In college, I discovered photography courses that opened my eyes to the art of light, composition, and storytelling. I continued learning, gained real-world experience at Orion Photo Group, and turned that passion into purpose by launching Grayson Flicks Photography business in Colorado.

Every experience in my life has shaped the way I photograph people today. Whether it's running, traveling, growing up in a large bilingual family, or building meaningful relationships, each has influenced how I approach every wedding, portrait, and engagement session throughout Denver and Colorado.
Running has been a major part of life since high school, eventually competing at the NCAA Division III collegiate level in cross country and track for four years.
It's more than exercise - it's a way to relieve stress, build mental strength, and explore new places. The discipline, consistency, and mindset developed through years of competitive running influence how I approach every wedding, portrait, and engagement session throughout Colorado.
Traveling has shaped my perspective and creativity. Visiting seven different countries has given me exposure to new cultures, people, and ways of fife.

Coming from a big family of nine siblings, with seven of them being adopted, has created a unique and meaningful family dynamic that shaped my values and appreciation for connection.
Chinese is my native language, while English became my second language through years of learning and experience.
Being bilingual allows me to connect with both English- and Mandarin-speaking clients throughout Denver and Colorado.
Meeting new people is one of the most enjoyable and rewarding parts of photography. Building relationships and creating a comfortable experience for clients comes naturally.
